A hot July afternoon. Not the best time to go looking for birds but a very good time to look for butterflies and dragonflies. An overcast sky is very nice also. I didn’t have to contend with any harsh shadows – just nice even light all around.
A good opportunity to create some nice silhouettes.
I really like how the pond flora blends into a beautiful background.
I was perched on the hill where the Netherlands Carillon stands. Me and about 10000 others. It’s a great location for getting three landmarks in one shot.
I wish I could be in several places at once or that there were more displays throughout the year.

Stopped by the Gibbs gardens after Photoshop World. It’s an amazing place with tens of thousands of daffodils and a variety of other flowers in a spectacular setting, including the Japanese garden.
